Under Manhattan Island Marathon Swim rules, proceeds raised for charity will be split evenly between their selected charity Swim Free™, and my selected charity Action on Bladder Cancer.

Bladder cancer is the 4^th most commonly diagnosed cancer in males in the UK. Additionally, it is the only known cancer where the ten-year survival rate in England and Wales is actually lower than it was in the 1980s. Lack of awareness is one key issue as one quarter of men and women in the UK are unable to identify possible symptoms of bladder cancer.

For the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim, I managed to raised USD$1,055 for Action on Bladder Cancer and Swim Free™.
